Provider Services: Training Opportunities

CCR&R offers training designed to help early childhood professionals meet licensing and registration requirements and become more successful in developing skills for working with children and families. In-service training is required by the Iowa Department of Human Services as minimum training requirements for persons employed in child development homes and centers. CCR&R maintains a web-based calendar of regional professional development opportunities.

Region 1 Training Policies and Procedures

CCR&R Region 1 has training policies and procedures to ensure quality professional training opportunities are available to all child care providers. The policies and procedures also guide providers through the registration, training, and certificate process.

CCR&R encourages child care providers to know the location of the ICN training they will be attending so providers arrive on time and prepared.

CCR&R training is CCRR Core Trainings CCR&R Core Series Trainings After Child Care Home Providers complete ChildNet training within 1 year, they are eligible to become ChildNet Certified.
