What Can a Child Care Health Consultant Do for You?
Child care health consultants are registered nurses that provide guidance and technical assistance to child care providers regarding the health and safety of children in care. Depending on the agreement between the child care provider and the health professional, consultant activities may range from answering specific questions and providing telephone advice as needed to scheduling regular on-site consultation visits, staff training and health supervision of children.
